Why Should You Get A NICET Certification

Most applicants are seeking a NICET certification for a personal moral boost, additional experience, or bragging rights.  However, some are only testing to meet an employer’s requirement. Regardless a NICET certified technician is priceless.  To an employer it shows that their employee is dedicated and willing to stick with a 10 year process.  (10 years is only required for the Nicet certification level 4)
If you are unsure about how your background, job needs, and career goals fit with NICET certification programs, or if you want more information about NICET certification procedures, start with a review of the program details manuals and other descriptive materials available on their website.

After that, any remaining questions can be discussed with NICET certification staff by phone

(888-476-4238 or 703-548-1518)

Truth of the matter is NICET is the leader in nationaly certifing technicians in the field of fire alarm installation,  fire alarm testing and service.  Employers, co-workers, and customers will take you more seriously if you posses a high level NICET certification in fire alarm systems.  Aside from that, you will be able to meet specifications and feel confident in the systems you design and install.

NICET is a lot of work but well worth it in the long run.
