Click here to view a document that compares the FCI E3 series addressable fire alarm system to others such as: Edwards, Simplex and Siemens.
The E3 Series addressable fire alarm system completely dominates the industry. It is the only fire alarm panel built around UL 9th edition. All of the other fire alarm systems out there have been upgraded to meet the new standards.
If you take a look at the document you will notice how much more expandable the E3 is than the competition. It is highly recommended that if you are trying to sell your customer on a panel that will last for years to come go with the E3 series addressable fire alarm system.
Do you want to know more about fire alarms and other low voltage systems including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion, Nurse Call, fire alarm wiring, conduit bending, Areas of Refuge and Mass Notification? We have put together some great information on DVD to assist you with studying for the infamous NICET test including the CBT test format and encourage our readers to sign up as members. E3 features, 318 devices per SLC circuit (159 sensors and 159 modules) and not 199.
ReplyDeleteBest regards
You are correct. This is obviously a mistake from Honeywell's main office as this is a sales sheet provided to distributers. It is as if they were thinking clip mode but even that number is one off it would then be 198 (99 sensors and 99 modules) Thanks for catching this as it does not represent the E3's true capability.
ReplyDeleteThis marketing document was created in the early life of the E3 Series panel. Originally the E3 was only 99/99 till the 6 months after release when it went to the 159/159 address count.
